[edit] Wave Quickie

The wave will not undergo Faraday rotation, because the positrons and electrons have the same mass, charge (except for opposite sign), and density. Faraday rotation is due to a difference in the refractive index of left and right polarized light. The index for the right-handed light, mostly due to the electrons, will be the same as the left-handed light, mostly due to positrons.
